Lightning hits 7 in Achham, 3 critically

DHANGADHI: Lightning that struck an electric pole in Saanfebagar-13 Bakla, Accham has injured 7 people.

According to Gokarna Updhyaya, the Chief District Officer of Accham District, 7 including 4 from Bahun Tol, Bakla have been injured critically by the lightning.

Among the lightning victims, Saubhagya Joshi, 18, Hom Raj Joshi, 21, and Gokul Prasad Joshi, 13, are in serious condition.

Similarly, Bhuwaneshwori Joshi, 34, Tilak Raj Joshi, 18, Jayanti Joshi, 21, and Devaswori Joshim, 18, received minor bruises due to lightning of Wednesday evening.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the Mangalsen Hospital.
