Train belonging to North Korean leader Kim ‘spotted’



SEOUL: A train probably belonging to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was spotted at a resort town in North Korea, satellite images reviewed by a Washington-based North Korea monitoring project has claimed.

The train was spotted amid conflicting reports about the North Korea’s health and whereabouts.

38 North, the monitoring project, reported that the special train was parked in Wonsan station on April 21 and April 23.

According to the report, the station was reserved for the use of the Kim family.

However, it has not been confirm independently whether Kim was in Wonsan.

The report, however, said that the train’s presence does not prove Kim’s whereabouts or his health. However, it does show that Kim should be staying at an elite area.

Speculation about the North Korean leader’s health first came to fore as he was absent in the birth anniversary of North Korea’s founding father and his grandfather, Kim Il Sung, on April 15.
