KATHMANDU: To curb coronavirus, Nepali Army (NA) has prepared more than 7,000 quarantine beds in its eight division headquarters.

NA has established 7,234 quarantine beds at Narayanhiti and other 7 division headquarters.

According to NA Headquarter, NA has prepared 1,010 isolation beds for the treatment of coronavirus-infected persons while it has kept 196 doctors on stand-by.

It has already trained the doctors and other supporting staff for a week earlier.

These teams have already been deployed in eight division headquarters.

Likewise, NA has also announced to launch an app for the treatment and rescue of the victims. The app will help to identify the victim’s numbers and status.

Such practice is proved effective in Singapore and China. Nepal Army is testing the app internally.
