Another Nepali dies of coronavirus in London

LONDON: Another Nepali national has died of Coronavirus.

It has been confirmed that 40-year-old Prashant Aryal of South East London who died on Monday morning was infected with COVID-19.

According to Aryal’s relative based in London, Padam Karki, the hospital on Wednesday informed the family members that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

Aryal, who had been living in London for more than a decade, had no health complications than hypertension.

He was taken to local Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday morning after having symptoms similar to COVID-19 and died in course of treatment on early Monday morning.

Earlier, a former Gurkha soldier had died of COVID-19 in London.

66-year-old Lila Bahadur Rai of Sankhuwasabha and currently living in South London died of the deadly virus on March 17.
