People have felt govt’s presence: CM Pokhrel

PARASI: Chief Minister of State 5 Shankar Pokhrel has claimed that achievements of the State Government have started showing up.

“People have now felt the presence of the state government. The government’s achievements are possible with the people’s support,” he said adding that the state government is in favor of planned development.

Pokhrel said this while laying the foundation stone for a bridge over local Jharahi River at Ramgram-7 in West Nawalparasi. The bridge will link Ramgram Stupa, a religious site, and Deuraba village.

CM Pokhrel said that the bridge could be a milestone in developing Ramgram Stupa as the main tourist destination.

Stating that the government has accorded high priority to the modernization of agriculture, industrialization, and tourism infrastructure development, he reiterated his commitment to providing clean drinking water and electricity to all houses in the area within three years.
