KATHMANDU: Members of the House of Representatives today drew the government’s attention towards various contemporary issues in today’s parliamentary session.

Speaking during the zero hour, parliamentarian Rekha Kumari demanded the government to investigate the controversial audiotape scandal of outgoing Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Baskota.

Lawmaker Mina Subba asked why the government was silent on Baskota’s audiotape scandal.

Bhawani Prasad Khapung, meanwhile, emphasized the need for stern action against those involved in corruption.

Similarly, lawmakers Ram Bahadur Bista, Rajendra Prasad Gautam, and Bimala Nepali drew the government’s attention to save the country’s border areas.
