42 depositors of troubled Shiva Shikhar and Pashupati cooperatives get refunds



KATHMANDU: The Problematic Cooperatives Management Committee has returned the savings of small depositors of Shiva Shikhar and Pashupati cooperatives.

According to the committee’s member secretary Rabin Dhakal, 14 depositors of Shiva Shikhar cooperatives and 28 of Pashupati cooperatives have received refunds.

The amount has been returned to depositors with small savings in the first phase. In this way, the amount will be gradually classified based on the amount of savings.

The work of returning savings to savers of the concerned cooperatives from the amount received from the recovery of loans from troubled cooperatives and asset management is being carried out continuously in accordance with the prevailing legal provisions. (RSS)
