KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has urged the government to take necessary measures for people’s safety from the coronavirus as Nepal lies in a highly risky zone from its infection.

The virus that originated in the Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province, has so far spread to half a dozen countries in the world.

Issuing a statement on Sunday, NC has sought a safe rescue of the Nepali students studying in several universities and academic institutes in the Wuhan city and the Nepali business community there.
