Deputy Mayor Darshana refutes allegations of ‘hiding’ in the US



KATHMANDU: Danta Nepali ‘Darshana’, the deputy mayor of Tilagupha municipality in Kalikot district, has refuted media reports alleging her of hiding in the United States as ‘incorrect’.

Darshana, who had gone to the US to attend a program was alleged of ‘hiding’ in the country of dreams.

Refuting media reports on social media, she said she just prolonged her stay in the US due to her physical condition. According to her, she was taken ill and was currently receiving treatment there adding that it might take another five months for her to recover.

According to her, her efforts to contact Mayor Ratan Shahi went in vain as Shahi did not receive her calls.
