Two go missing in Tama Koshi River



KATHMANDU: Two people have gone missing in the Tama Koshi River in the course of fishing.

The missing have been identified as 36-year-old Deepak Bhujel of Melung rural municipality, Dolakha and 19-year-old Nawa Raj Paudel of Kalinchowk rural municipality-7.

According to Police Inspector Ramesh Bohara of District Police Office, Dolakha they were swept away by the swollen river while they were fishing in the river. The youths, however, had gone to separate places in the river for fishing.

Police said the search operation for the missing is underway.
