Govt to supply daily essentials at convenient places



KATHMANDU: The government has accelerated its preparation to supply daily essential goods to the people from convenient places.

Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply, Lekharaj Bhatta assured that the government will leave no stone unturned to ensure smooth supply of daily essentials.

He said 16 trucks of medicine and medical items stuck at Raxaul of Nepal-India border will arrive Kathmandu by Wednesday evening.

Minister Bhatta said that government is working day and night with effective communication and coordination with the ministers, secretaries, subordinate bodies, NGOs and private sectors to ensure smooth supply of essential goods to the people.

Minister Bhatta also said that medicine and petroleum products would not stop during the lockdown.
