India’s leader Ahmed Patel passes away

NEW DELHI: India’s political leader Ahmed Patel passed away today. He died of COVID-19.

The person, who was the word of the Indian Congress high-command, rose the ladder from the roots.

His rise in politics began during the 1970s when India’s then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s decision to impose National Emergency saw several veterans quitting the Congress.
