Hold talks with Dr. KC immediately: Bibeksheel Party



KATHMANDU: The Bibeksheel Nepali Party has demanded the government to start immediate talks with senior doctor Govinda KC who is on a hunger strike demanding reform in the medical education sector.

In a press release issued on Friday, the party urged the government to fulfill KC’s demand and save his life.

Unfortunately, Dr. KC was forcibly taken to the Trauma Center after airlifted to Kathmandu, the party further said.

Dr. KC had started his hunger strike in Jumla and is currently at the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
