53,056 individuals tested for COVID-19 in Karnali Province



SURKHET: A total of 53,056 individuals have been tested for COVID-19 in Karnali Province so far. Of them, 2,313 persons are found infected with the deadly coronavirus in the Province.

According to the statistics of the Province, 18 individuals tested positive to COVID-19 today. With this, the total number of infected has reached 2,313 in the Province.

According to the Social Development Ministry of the Province, 15 people returned home after complete health recovery today. The total number of recovery has reached 2,007 until today.

It is stated that 87 percent of infected recovered and returned home while only 13 percent infected are in isolation centers in the Province.

The Ministry further shared that six infected have died of COVID-19 in the Province so far. According to Dr. Pradeep Neupane at the Province Hospital, 319 are in isolation and of them, only 17 were tested positive. He further added that all these 17 have returned home after recovery.
