Foreign Minister Rana meets Indian counterpart S. Jaishankar



KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana held a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Tuesday in New Delhi.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 10th edition of the Raisina Dialogue 2025, organized by India’s Ministry of External Affairs.

Minister Rana described the meeting as highly fruitful and noted that the two leaders reviewed bilateral relations, discussing ongoing engagements across various sectors. They also explored opportunities to enhance people-to-people and diplomatic exchanges.

Taking to her X account (formerly Twitter), Rana expressed her appreciation for India’s Neighbourhood First Policy and reiterated Nepal’s commitment to prioritizing its relationship with India.

During the discussion, both ministers covered a wide range of topics, including the exchange of visits, mutual cooperation, trade transit issues, and progress in water resources development.

Rana conveyed her commitment to fostering stronger ties and collaboration between the two neighboring countries.
