Detainee tests COVID-19 positive in Itahari

ITAHARI: Coronavirus has been confirmed in a detainee under the custody of Area Police Office, Itahari.

The infection has been confirmed on the person who was handed over to the Area Police Office, Itahari on July 19 by the Armed Police Force (APF) in the case of revenue leakage.

APF had collected the swab sample of the 25-year-old man before sending him to the custody.

Swab samples of eight other detainees are being collected for a PCR test.
