Lantern rally in Kathmandu in protest of Rukum killings



KATHMANDU: The Joint Political Dalit Struggle Committee on Thursday staged a lantern rally in the Capital to protest against the killing of six people in Rukum West.

The struggle committee took out a lantern procession at Maitighar in Kathmandu on Thursday saying that action should be taken on the culprits of the incident.

Participants in the demonstration alleged that the incident has not been investigated in depth. They chanted slogans saying that the perpetrators of ethnic genocide should be punished to the utmost.
