Three cops dragged to court for graft



KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a case against three policemen on the charge of taking bribe from people involved in illegal money transfer called hundi in Parsa.

CIAA has filed a case in Special Court on Thursday against Assistant Inspector of Police Purna Bahadur Tamang, Head Constable Bishnu Dayal Chaudhary and Constable Awadhesh Rai of the Narcotics Control Bureau, Parsa Branch Office.

CIAA had arrested them on March 20 with a bribe of Rs 635,000.
