Patient undergoing treatment at Bharatpur quarantine camp dies



CHITWAN: A patient who was admitted to special quarantine camp at Bharatpur Hospital after he complained of high fever and cough and cold has died.

The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old man from Birgunj. He had been shifted to special isolation ward after being suspected of coronavirus infection from Chitwan Medical Hospital.

The hospital had collected his swab and sent it to the central laboratory in Kathmandu for test but its result is awaited.

The reason behind his death is confirmed once the swab test result is out, said Arun Pidit Bhandari, spokesperson of Bharatatpur Metropolitan City.
