One die, four injured in Kalanki road accident

KATHMANDU: A person died and four others injured when a truck hit multiple vehicles at Kalanki on Monday.

According to Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalimati, the truck, Na 6 Kha 2871, heading to Kalanki from Thankot hit nine vehicles after a brake failure.

The deceased is Samser Gurung of Tandi, Chitwan. Gurung died while being treated at the Trauma Center of Bir Hospital.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the same hospital. One is said to be in critical condition.
