Qatar eager to construct cricket stadium in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Qatar has expressed eagerness over constructing a cricket stadium in Nepal.

During a courtesy call on Speaker Agni Sapkota, Qatari Ambassador to Nepal Yousif Bin Mohamed Al-Hail said that his country was ready to assist Nepal for airport expansion and cricket stadium construction.

During the meeting at Parliament Secretariat on Monday, the Ambassador congratulated newly-elected Speaker Sapkota.

Speaker Sapkota said that such meets will further strengthen the bilateral relations between the countries.
