POKHARA: Police have arrested four people on the charge of greeting Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli with black flags in Pokhara on Monday.

Prime Minister Oli, who is also the chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), had reached Pokhara to address the Provincial Level Party Orientation Program.

Acting on a tip-off, leaders and cadres of Samajwadi Party (SP) had set a program to greet Prime Minister Oli with black flags.

SP leaders and cadres demonstrated shouting slogans showing black flags in front of Sabhagriha Gate of Pokhara.

Senior leaders including Jhala Nath Khanal, Secretariat member and Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha are addressing the two-day party orientation program.
