Gold hits record high of Rs 80,300 per tola



KATHMANDU: Gold price increased by Rs 500 per tola in the domestic market on the second trading day of the week on Monday to set a new high of Rs 80,300 per tola (11.664 grams).

The price of the yellow metal was Rs 78,800 per tola yesterday.

Likewise, tejabi gold is priced at Rs 80,000 per tola while the silver increased by Rs 5 to register Rs 925 per tola.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), bullion prices have gone high in the international market owing to the coronavirus epidemic in the countries including China.
