SYANGJA: Landslide buried a youth to death in Kaligandaki of Syangja last night. Krishna Nepali, 18, of Kaligandaki rural municipality-4, Gautam Tole in Syangja died after being buried by a landslide that occurred above his house following the torrential rain for over three days.
According to the ward chair, Krishna Nepali who was sleeping at his house was buried when the landslide occurred at 2.00 am last night took away the threshold of Man Bahadur Nepali of Gautam Tole.
Locals and security personnel from Birgha Police Post retrieved the body of Nepali from landslide debris.
Other members of the family however are in normal condition.
