Six, including Biplav’s elder brother, arrested



LALITPUR: Police have arrested six cadres, including the elder brother of Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ of the outlawed Biplav-led outfit from Jawalakhel of Lalitpur on Sunday night.

Those arrested are Biplav’s elder brother Jayandra Chand, and cadres Binod Chand, Prem Krishna, Kamal Sunar, Anil Magar and Krishna Magar, SP Tek Prasad Rai, Metropolitan Police Circle of Lalitpur said.

It was revealed that Jayandra was Biplav’s elder brother after his arrest.

Investigations are underway, police said.
