Gold continues to glitter, sets new record of Rs 78,800 per tola



KATHMANDU: Gold price increased by Rs 700 per tola in the domestic market on the first trading day of the week on Sunday to set a new high of Rs 78,800 per tola (11.664 grams).

The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs 78,100 per tola as the market closed on Friday.

Likewise, tejabi gold is priced at Rs 78,500 per tola as silver registered an increase by Rs 5 to be traded at Rs 920.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), bullion prices have gone high in the international market owing to the coronavirus epidemic.
