JANAKPUR: Mrigendra Singh Yadav, a candidate of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N) coalition has been elected National Assembly (NA) member from Province 2.

Singh got elected to the Upper House garnering 5,400 vote weightage defeating his own brother Anirudra Singh of Samajwadi Party who received 4,512 vote weightage.
