Govt decides to take back Rs 3 billion doled to Sajha Yatayat

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to take back Rs three billion it provided to Sajha Yatayat for the procurement of e-buses.

While speaking at a meeting organized to make public Cabinet decisions, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Baskota said the amount will be taken back with incurred interest.

According to Minister Baskota the decision was taken as the organization failed to procure buses. He added that now the government itself will procure the buses.

The Cabinet has given the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport go ahead to purchase the buses.
