Lalitpur records two additional COVID-19 deaths



KATHMANDU: Two people have died from the coronavirus while undergoing treatment at two different hospitals in Lalitpur district.

According to District Health Office, Lalitpur an 80-year-old man of Dhapakhel, Lalitpur died at Megha Hospital at 5 pm on Tuesday.

The octogenarian had been admitted to the hospital on August 21 after he complained of high blood pressure, and respiratory complications.

Similarly, a 74-year-old man of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-16, Patan succumbed to the virus in the course of treatment at Alka Hospital at 2 am today, informed the District Health Office, Lalitpur.

The septuagenarian had been admitted to the hospital on Septmber 1 after he complained of high fever.

Both the patients had tested positive for coronavirus during the treatment period, according to  hospital sources.
