Nepali Congress parliamentary party meeting continues today



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress parliamentary party meeting will continue today at the parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar.

Chief whip Shyam Ghimire stated that the meeting, which started yesterday afternoon, is focused on preparing for the winter session of the federal parliament, set to begin on January 31.

Key discussions include forming a unified stance on recently issued ordinances by the government led by UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, expediting the passage of bills, and defending them effectively in parliament.

The meeting is also reviewing the party’s position and agenda for the upcoming winter session of both houses of the federal parliament.
