Time to stand together to overcome Covid-19 fear: NCP Chair Dahal



KATHMANDU: Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has instructed party leaders and cadres to work toward implementing the government’s efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

He has also directed them to work toward organizing awareness programs and ensuring prevention measures to make sure that people do not panic.

“NCP Chairman Dahal has instructed NCP party-fold to intensify preventive measures and awareness campaigns,” Dahal’s secretariat said on Sunday.

Chairman Dahal has also urged the government to ensure all necessary precautionary measures and equipment to prevent the infection.

“It’s high time that all Nepalis stood together to overcome the situation without panicking,” the Secretariat quoted Dahal as saying.

Chairman Dahal has suspended his meetings in recent times. Likewise, the NCP has also postponed all its scheduled programs.

The government has urged people to adopt preventive measures encouraging them from staying indoors to avoid possible infection.
