IGP Khanal confers insignia on AIGP Singh

KATHMANDU: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sarbendra Khanal has conferred an insignia on recently promoted Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Dr Asha Singh.

IGP Khanal conferred the insignia on Dr Singh amid a special ceremony organized in the capital on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Nepal Police Chief Khanal congratulated Singh and expressed confidence that Nepal Police Hospital, as well as the entire police organization, would take a new height under her leadership.

Expressing her views, Singh said she would leave no stone unturned to bring reforms in the Nepal Police Hospital during her stint.

AIGPs, DIGPs, senior police officials, police officials among others were present on the occasion.

A cabinet meeting held on Monday had decided to promote Dr Asha Singh to the post of AIGP.
