KATHMANDU: A task force formed by the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) formed to settle intra-party disputes has submitted its report on Saturday.

According to Press Advisor to PM Oli, Surya Thapa, the task force handed over the report to Chairmen KP Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda at Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.

NCP Secretariat meeting on Monday had endorsed the six-member task force formed to resolve the internal rift that has surfaced in the party of late.

After studying the report of the task force, the two chairpersons will discuss it in the Secretariat and then the leaders are ready to make a decision based on suggestions through the Standing Committee.

Oli and Dahal plan to implement the decision as soon as it is decided by the Standing Committee.

According to a member of the task force, the report suggests Oli leading the government for five years and Prachanda taking charge of the party.
