Over 100 vehicles held for violating prohibitory order this morning



KATHMANDU: Over 100 vehicles have been taken under control on the charge of violating the prohibitory order on Saturday morning.

According to Metropolitan Police Traffic Division, Kathmandu more than 100 vehicles have been held for breaching the order this morning.

As many as 747 vehicles taken under control on Friday afternoon were released later in the evening.

Those who violate the prohibitory order will be penalized in line with the Infectious Disease (Control) Act 2020 and Local Administration Act, 2028.

District Administration Offices have imposed a week-long prohibitory order after the coronavirus cases increased in Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Kathmandu starting Thursday.
