Speaker Sapkota pays last tribute to Burman Buda



KATHMANDU: Agni Prasad Sapkota, Speaker at the House of Representatives, has expressed his sorrow over the demise of Communist leader Barman Buda Magar this morning.

He has expressed his condolences to the bereaved family as well.

Similarly, Speaker Sapkota reached Pashupati Aryaghat and paid his last respects to late Magar.

Originally from Rolpa, Buda breathed his last in the course of treatment at Patan Hospital in Lalitpur on Wednesday morning at the age of 90.

Buda had been elected to the House of Representatives from Rolpa-1 in the elections held in 2048 BS, representing Rastriya Janamorcha.

Buda had been bed-ridden since the past one year. He had been suffering from jaundice.

His final rites were performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today.
