16 including Krishna Pahadi arrested for protesting against Parliament dissolution



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 16 members of the Human Rights and Peace Society of Nepal for protesting against the dissolution of Parliament by Prime Minister KP Oli.

Police arrested Krishna Pahadi, founding Chairman of the society, Chairman Uttam Pudasaini, founding member Krishna Kandel, former General Secretary Kumar Raj Subedi, Secretary Bal Bahadur Gaha Magar and Kathmandu branch Chairman Jagannath Pudasaini while protesting in front of the Prime Minister’s Office Singha Durbar.

The society has condemned the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
