NC will never deviate from BP’s path of socialism: Deuba



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the NC will always follow the path of socialism shown by leader BP Koirala.

Speaking on the 38th Memorial Day of BP Koirala on Tuesday, President Deuba said NC will always be advocating for development, justice and equality in line with the democratic socialism.

Similarly, General Secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala underscored the need for maintaining high level of integrity in politics, referring to the BP’s mantra that politics without honesty will lead nowhere.

Stating that nationality and democracy are interdependent, Koirala called on all the patriotic political parties to stand united to safeguard nationality and democracy through the path of socialism.

BP Koirala, who had fought for the establishment of nationality, democracy and socialism in Nepal, had died on July 21, 1982.
