NCP Chair Dahal suggests PM Oli to seek Minister Baskota’s resignation

KATHMANDU: Chairman of ruling Nepal Communist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahal has suggested Prime Minister K P Oli to seek the resignation of Minister for Information Gokul Baskota.

Dahal’s suggestions come after Minister Baskota has been dragged into controversy following the leakage of his audio clip in which he has been heard of bargaining for Rs 700 million in bribe over the procurement of security printing press for the government.

Meanwhile, it has been learned that Prime Minister Oli will decide action against Baskota once he talks to him after he returns to the capital from Kanchanpur.
