National Assembly meeting taking place today



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the National Assembly is scheduled to take place today at 1:15 pm at Singha Durbar.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Home Minister Sudhan Gurung is scheduled to respond to oral questions related to his ministry. Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security Sita Badi is also expected to answer oral questions concerning her ministry.

National Assembly member Kamala Pant is set to present a proposal seeking to draw the Home Minister’s attention to the government’s preparedness for monsoon disaster management.

Similarly, Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment Gita Chaudhary will table the Infectious Animal Diseases (Control) Bill, 2083 in the House.
