KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said that the weather will be partly cloudy in Province 1 and Gandaki Province and mainly fair in the rest of the country on Sunday.
In a weather bulletin issued for today, it added that the weather will be partly cloudy in Gandaki Province, Karnali
Province and Sudurpaschim Province and mainly fair in the rest of the country tonight.
The country is affected by north-westerly winds, according to the met office.
Currently, there is fog in some parts of the Eastern Terai as well as in most parts of the Central and Western Terai. In addition, there is partial cloud cover in the hilly areas of Province 1, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim Provinces, while the weather is generally clear in the rest of the country.
MFD has requested everyone to take measures to avoid be safe from cold as there could be a slight drop in temperature across the country.
Also, in most parts of the Terai and some parts of the hills, the morning fog may reduce the visibility of the air and affect the road and air traffic, so everyone is requested to take the necessary precautions, it added.
