Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 145.27 and the selling rate at Rs 145.87. The buying rate of one euro stands at Rs 171.62, while the selling rate is Rs 172.33.

Similarly, one UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 195.90 and sold at Rs 196.71, and one Swiss franc is being bought at Rs 188.94 and sold at Rs 189.72. The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 103.37 and the selling rate at Rs 103.80.

Likewise, one Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 106.47 and sold at Rs 106.91, while one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 114.84 and sold at Rs 115.31. The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.31 and the selling rate is Rs 9.35.

One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 21.18 and sold at Rs 21.27. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 38.73 and the selling rate is Rs 38.89, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 39.85 and sold at Rs 40.02.

Likewise, one Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.68 and sold at Rs 4.70. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs 39.55 and the selling rate is Rs 39.71. One Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 37.33 and sold at Rs 37.49.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.09 and the selling rate is Rs 10.13. One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 16.09 and sold at Rs 16.15, while one Danish krone is being bought at Rs 22.97 and sold at Rs 23.06.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 18.57 and the selling rate at Rs 18.65. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 475.52 and sold at Rs 477.48. The buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 385.29 and the selling rate is Rs 386.88, while one Omani rial is being bought at Rs 377.82 and sold at Rs 379.38.

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160, with the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may vary and that updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
