Truck-hit kills pedestrian in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: A person has died after being hit by a truck at Jadibuti Chowk in Kathmandu on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Dhan Bahadur Karki of Indravati Rural Municipality-7 of Sindhupalchowk.

A truck, Na 6 Kha 2917, had hit the man while he was crossing the road under an overhead bridge at Jadibuti Chowk.

Police have impounded the truck and arrested the driver.
