Water level rises to danger level in Narayani River



CHITWAN: The continuous rainfall that started yesterday has resulted in the water level rise up to the alarming point in Chitwan.

According to the Chitwan District Police sources, the water level in Narayani river has risen above the alarming level near Dev Ghat Chitwan.

“The flood measurement center located in Devghat has measured the water level of Narayani River 8.04 meter, ”the source said,“ the Flood Measurement center has eight meters as the alarming point.”

The local administrations in Chitwan and Nawalpur have alerted the locals living near the river bank to remain alert and keep away from the area.
