Mother, daughter missing in Darchula landslide found dead



DARCHULA:  A mother and her daughter who went missing in a landslide in Darchula district have been found dead.

The deceased are 42-year-old Manmati Devi Thagunna and her daughter Arati Thagunna of Naugad rural municipality-6.

According to SSP Mukesh Singh of Provincial Police Office of Sudurpashchim, mother Manmati and her daughter Arati had gone missing after their house was buried by a landslide triggered by incessant rain.
