In pics: Bharatpur readies corona treatment hospital in 72 hours



CHITWAN: A special hospital has been readied in Bharatpur for treating COVID-19 cases. The hospital will come into operation on Friday.

A meeting of stakeholders at the initiation of the metropolis on Tuesday had decided to establish a 70-bed hospital to treat coronavirus patients.

The hospital has a 10-bed intensive care unit, a 10-bed high dependency unit, and a 50-bed normal unit.

Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolis Renu Dahal said that the hospital will start OPD from tomorrow.

“First OPD service will start at the hospital. Then, the isolation ward will be arranged,” Dahal informed, adding that 14 health workers will be mobilized.
