Nepse up by 1.77 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) surged by 1.77 points to settle at 1,400.01 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

The benchmark index witnessed improvement for a long time. Similarly, sensitive index that assesses major companies, went up by 1.09 points to settle at 294.95 points.

Despite a slight improvement in Nepse, the amount of transaction crossed over Rs 2 billion.

A total of 5,468,483 units of shares from 181 companies were sold for Rs 2,125,977,034.
