NC warns govt to stop playing with citizen’s life



KATHMANDU: The main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has said it has taken the death of a young man in the quarantine of Banke seriously and has warned the government not to perform negligence with the precious life of the citizens.

The party has warned that the death of a young man due to coronavirus in the quarantine of Banke has raised some serious questions. The party has urged the government to learn from the incident and act seriously.

A statement issued by NC Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma said, “If the death of the young man is understood as a single death and the serious question behind it is ignored, our coming days in the struggle against coronavirus will be even more difficult.”

The party has further stated that the family members of the deceased have suffered an irreparable loss.
