Relief to COVID-19 affected and landslide victims



MUSTANG: Pal Aiham Namgyal Monastery School has provided financial assistance to disaster-hit and COVID-19 affected people.

The school registered at Lomanthang Rural Municipality-3 is temporarily running its activities at Khapaudi of Pokhara Metropolitan City-18 these days.

The Monastery School provided Rs 70,000 to COVID-19 control fund established by the Gandaki State government while Rs 50, 000 to the metropolitan city established fund.

School principal Gyacho Gurung shared that they provided the assistance under social corporate responsibility.
Meanwhile, relief has been provided to landslide victims of Paintedanda of Pokhara Metropolitan City-26.

About 50 families in the settlement are displaced by landslide and are taking temporary shelters at Radha Krishna Old Age Home at Metropolitan City-26.

State Assembly member Indradhara Bista took initiation to provide the relief materials to the displaced families. The landslide victims received edible goods and other basic items.
