TEL AVIV: Chinese Ambassador to Israel, Du Wei, 58, has been found dead in his apartment in Israel’s Tel Aviv suburb on Sunday.
Police have initiated an investigation into his death.
Ambassador Wei was found dead in his bed. According to the police, it appears that he died in his sleep.
He is survived with his wife and a son. Wei was appointed as China’s envoy to Israel in February 2020.
Reports have said that Wei was found dead in his bed by his staff at the apartment.
According to reports, no signs of violence have been found on his body.
