Youth held on charge of raping 15-year-old girl



KAPILVASTU: Police on Sunday made public a youth arrested on charge of raping a 15-year-old girl at Aaurahawa in Krishnanagar Municipality ward no. 11 in Kapilvastu.

According to Police Inspector Madhu Nepal at the Area Police Office, Ganeshpur, Ramtirathnath Yadav, 24, of Aaurahawa was held on Saturday on the charge of raping the girl.

Inspector Nepal stated that the youth pounced on the teenager by luring her at his home on Friday night.

Police have lodged a rape case against the youth and investigating the case, police said.
